I have a brief overview in my Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle review but I want to go into some more depth on the Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle book. What exactly is in this book?
Pictures of Tom Venuto’s chiseled 3.7% body fat abs :). No really...
The book’s strong point is that it is literally a fitness and fat loss bible. I think Tom’s done more research and has more credentials than anyone else in this industry. The guy spent FOURTEEN YEARS researching this book and it shows (he also personally tried out a half a dozen diets, high carb, low carb, high protein, isometric, the zone diet, you name it)… even without counting the bonuses, you’re getting more than 300 pages of diet, fitness and nutrition reference material.
That really underscores the second point which is that this is a SERIOUS fat loss program that is built for lasting, long-term results. Versus Fat Loss 4 Idiots, which is good for dropping some pounds as quickly as possible so you can fit into that cocktail dress that’s been sitting in the closet for years, the Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle book is a complete dietary, nutritional, and fitness reference guide and the advice is really geared toward changing the way you eat and getting you on a good exercise plan. Following the plan in the Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle book is a great way to look younger, live longer and have more energy.
Everybody loves bullet points so here are a few of the sections in the Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle book in bullet form:
- Long-term fat loss techniques
- How to lose fat without drugs or pills or supplements
- Why you should eat certain good fats (yes the evidence on this is growing every day... hard to believe but eating the right fats actually helps you lose weight!)
- The power of meal replacement drinks for weight loss IF you consume them properly
- Effective cardio routines... I know cardio’s getting a bad rap lately for weight loss but that’s because people are doing it wrong. Tom goes into this and how to do it the right way
- A “mental training formula” for getting your head in the right space so you stay healthy and slim for the rest of your life. It doesn’t have to be an exercise of willpower like moving a mountain every day!
Tom’s official site is filled with interviews, testimonials, and more information about his Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle book. It’s literally his life’s work so if you want to know every trick in the book when it comes to losing weight, feeling better about yourself and having more energy, it’s worth a look.
